The men are celebrating a mass killing that aid workers believe resulted in the deaths of over thousands of people in the Sudanese urban center of el-Fasher in recent weeks.

A City Cut Off from the Globe

After maintaining the community under encirclement for nearly two years, from late summer the RSF moved to reinforce its control and prevent access for the remaining residents.
