This is a positive story in a publication that Trump has frequently admired – with one exception. The magazine's cover photo, he stated, "may be the Worst of All Time".

Time magazine's praise to Trump's role in facilitating a truce for Gaza, featured on its November 10 cover, was paired with a image of Trump shot from a low angle while the sun positioned behind him.

The effect, he says, is ""terrible".

"The publication wrote a quite favorable story about me, but the image may be the lowest quality in history", he shared on his preferred network.

“They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had an object hovering on top of my head that resembled a floating crown, but an very tiny one. Truly strange! I never liked taking pictures from low perspectives, but this is a super bad picture, and should be criticized. Why did they do this, and why?”

Donald Trump has shown no secret of his desire to appear on Time’s cover and did so multiple times in the past year. This fixation has made it as far as the president's resorts – previously, the publication requested to remove fabricated front pages on display at several of his venues.

The most recent cover image was shot by Graeme Sloane for a news agency at the White House on the fifth of October.

The perspective was unflattering to the president's jawline and throat – an opening that California governor Gavin Newsom seized, with his press office tweeting a version with the offending area pixelated.

Simultaneously, a support for the president’s appearance has come from unusual quarters: the director of information at Russia’s ministry of foreign affairs intervened to condemn the "damaging" picture decision.

It's amazing: a photograph says more about those who selected it than about the person in it. Only sick people, people filled with spite and animosity –possibly even deviants – could have picked this picture", she shared on the messaging platform.

"And given the complimentary photos of Biden that the same publication displayed on the cover, despite his physical infirmity, the situation is self-revealing for Time", she said.

The response to Trump’s questions – what were Time’s editors doing, and why? – could be related to innovatively depicting a feeling of authority stated by a picture editor, an Australian publication's photo editor.

"The actual photo itself is well-executed," she explains. "They picked this image because they wanted Trump to look heroic. Staring up at someone gives a sense of their importance and his expression actually looks contemplative and almost somewhat divine. It’s not often you see photos of Trump in such a peaceful state – the picture feels tender."

Trump’s hair seems to vanish because the rear illumination has washed out that area of the image, generating a radiant circle, she adds. And, while the feature's heading complements his facial expression in the image, "you can’t always please the subject matter."

Nobody enjoys being photographed from below, and although all of the artistic aspects of the image are very strong, the appearance are not flattering."

The publication reached out to the periodical for comment.
